Rare Vintage Chanal Paris French Fibre Cement Eternit Trough with Side Handles

Crafted by Chanal Paris c. 1950, this rare and elegant French fibercement trough embodies a timeless minimalist aesthetic. Its design evokes the aesthetic of similar creations from the era, reminiscent of those by Willy Guhl. This trough has 2 metal handles on the sides along with a stamped number on the inside. The front tag is still on the front, as seen in the photograph, but not legible. It also includes drain holes. There is authentic patina and lichen to this surface and is structurally sound, and in good vintage condition.
